Meet the Founder

Wael Shawkat

Founder & Chairman of the Board

Wael Shawkat was born in Cairo, He spent more than seven years in France working as an international retail director for SLA and also studied for his Master’s Degree in Retail Development.

He has been overseeing retail businesses and operations since 1992 through different positions and has been exposed to different industries all over the world.

He was the official representative for a group of European retail cosmetics companies.

He created the retail concepts for 22 European fashion, and cosmetics brands, and opened lots of retail flagship stores for these brands in Europe and the Middle East
